The U12 Footballers travelled to Ballybrown on Thursday evening for the first game of Phase Two of the U12 Football 13-a-side League.  The players put in a very solid performance on the night and there was nothing between the two teams over the course of the match.  The 15 Ahane players played a very controlled and flowing brand of football and came away with a two point win on a scoreline of Ballybrown 1-4 : Ahane 2-3 with the result going right down to the wire.  This was a fantastic team effort from each and every one of the players taking into account that many of the boys had been in Cul Camp in Ahane all week and 5 of the players had also played in an U14 Football league game on Tuesday evening.  Well done to Tony, Kyle, David, James R, Cathal, Ryan, Jack, Sean, Paddy, Will, James O'M, John, Adam, James D and Jamie for your commitment, skill and team spirit.
